As July comes to a close, we’re here to share the latest on fulfillment progress, product development, cultivation efforts, and what’s ahead.

Shipping Updates

EU and Europe

We’re continuing to ship from stock, following the successful completion of all crowdfunding and preorder shipments across Europe where Pod Credits were claimed.

United States and Canada

We’re happy to share that shipping continues across all 50 U.S. states and throughout Canada. We remain committed to ensuring outstanding orders in North America are fulfilled.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support and patience as we work diligently to fulfill outstanding orders to the United States and Canada. While we continue to ramp up deliveries, we recognize that many of you are still waiting to receive orders placed some time ago. We fully understand the wait can be challenging, and we are committed to responsibly managing the high demand to ensure your patience is rewarded with the exceptional mushroom-growing experience you deserve and rightly expect from us. We’re dedicated to shipping your orders as swiftly as possible, helping you get started on your mushroom-growing journey as soon as possible.

North American shipping

Australia and Other Regions

We understand the high level of interest from customers in Australia and other regions. While fulfillment has been completed across Europe and is underway in North America, establishing stable and reliable shipping to additional regions takes time. This phased approach ensures that we maintain the standards expected of us. We appreciate your continued patience and will provide updates as soon as shipping preparations are finalized.

Product Updates

New Firmware Version Being Tested

As mentioned in our April Update, we're working on a new feature for your Shrooly: mushroom-specific temperature warnings. This means the ‘Temperature too low’ and ‘Temperature too high’ alerts will soon adapt based on the type of mushroom you're growing, helping you find the ideal spot for your Shrooly.

The upcoming firmware also includes minor bug fixes to improve the performance of the temperature sensor and humidifier.

This version is currently being tested to ensure everything runs smoothly. Once testing is complete, we’ll begin rolling it out to enhance your growing experience even further.

Cultivation Updates

Ongoing Pod Quality Monitoring Since June

Since June, we’ve been steadily improving how we monitor the quality of our Pods, driven by the valuable feedback you’ve shared about your mushroom harvests. This ongoing effort now includes insights from more sources than before, allowing us to better understand and respond to your growing experience.

A key part of this continuous improvement process is the quick 20-second survey you complete in the Shrooly app when harvesting. By filling it out, you're not only helping us, you’re directly shaping Shrooly growing Pods, with better yields and an increased chance of multiple flushes. Thank you for being an essential part of this journey and for growing with us.

European Substrate Optimization

As part of our ongoing work to improve productivity and cultivation outcomes, we’ve launched a series of experimental trials focused on optimizing our European substrate. These trials explore different substrate compositions, treatments, and preparation methods to better understand how they impact yield. By systematically testing these variables, our aim is to identify the most effective formulations to support faster growth, better crop quality, and more consistent results in production.

What’s Ahead?

We’ll keep focusing on scaling up our fulfillment operations across the United States and Canada, while also improving your experience with Shrooly and our growing Pods.

Tariffs on International Items

We’re closely monitoring the recent developments surrounding the introduction of new tariffs on goods imported from China. Given that our devices are currently manufactured there, these changes have the potential to significantly impact our production costs and overall supply chain stability.

While we have not yet made any final strategic decisions regarding operational shifts, the current level of uncertainty leaves us with no choice but to actively explore all available options.

We are addressing this matter with the appropriate level of seriousness and are actively developing contingency plans to ensure we navigate current challenges effectively, and to remain prepared for any sudden regulatory changes.
