June Update

As summer has started, we’re excited to share our June Update with you! We’ll be covering US and Canadian fulfillment, updates on products and cultivation, and enhancements to the user experience.
Shipping Updates
EU and Europe
We’re happy to share that we continue to ship from stock, having successfully fulfilled all crowdfunding and preorder shipments in Europe for customers who claimed their device along with at least one Pod Credit. If you’ve placed an order to a European address and are still awaiting shipment of your Shrooly and Pods, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help you complete any final steps required before your order is shipped.
United States and Canada
We’re pleased to share that we continue shipping to all 50 states within the US and have begun fulfilling our Canadian orders since May, ensuring our backers and customers in Canada also receive their orders promptly.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support and patience as we work diligently to fulfill all outstanding orders to the United States and Canada. While we continue to ramp up deliveries, we recognize that many of you are still waiting to receive orders placed some time ago. We fully understand the wait can be challenging, and we are committed to responsibly managing the high demand to ensure your patience is rewarded with the exceptional mushroom-growing experience you deserve and rightly expect from us. We’re dedicated to shipping your orders as swiftly as possible, helping you get started on your mushroom-growing journey as soon as possible.

Australia and Other Regions
We completely understand how excited our customers in Australia and other regions are to receive your Shrooly and start growing mushrooms at home. While we’ve successfully shipped all orders across Europe and have begun deliveries in the United States and Canada, setting up reliable shipping to other regions requires additional time. This gradual rollout helps us ensure that we consistently deliver the high-quality service and products you expect and deserve. We appreciate your patience and enthusiasm, and we promise to make the wait worthwhile by providing an outstanding experience from the moment your Shrooly arrives to every harvest that follows.
Pod Shipping
To help protect your Pods during the warmer summer months, we’re bringing back our eco-friendly ice packs in all shipments across North America and Europe. Since Pods are sensitive, they need extra care while in transit. The ice packs help keep them at the right temperature, so they arrive fresh and ready for a successful cultivation and harvest. Our eco-friendly ice packs are, of course, free of charge and included in every Pod package.
Product Updates
New Firmware Version Enters Testing Phase
Back in our April Update, we shared that a new feature is coming to your Shrooly: mushroom-specific temperature warnings. That means the ‘Temperature too low’ and ‘Temperature too high’ warnings will now be based on the specific mushroom type you’re growing, helping you find the best spot for your Shrooly.
This firmware update will also include some minor bug fixes to improve how the temperature sensor and humidifier work.
The new version is now in the testing phase and will roll out once everything is running smoothly, further enhancing your mushroom-growing experience.

Cultivation Updates
Improved Pod Quality Monitoring
Over the past few weeks, we’ve enhanced how we monitor the quality of our Pods, guided by the invaluable feedback you’ve shared about your mushroom harvests. We’re now gathering insights from more sources than ever to better understand your experience.
A key part of this shared improvement process is the quick 20-second survey you complete in the Shrooly app when harvesting. By filling it out, you’re not just helping us, you’re actively helping shape better Pods for everyone, leading to higher yields and even the potential for multiple flushes. Thank you for being part of this journey and for growing with us.
European Substrate Optimization
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance productivity and further improve cultivation outcomes, we have launched a series of new experimental trials focusing on substrate optimization. These experiments are specifically designed to investigate how different substrate compositions, treatments, and preparation methods influence overall yield. By systematically testing a variety of parameters, our goal is to identify the most effective substrate formulations that can support increased growth rates, improve crop quality, and ultimately lead to even higher and more consistent yields in our production system.
European Pod Manufacturing
To produce Pods more efficiently and at scale without compromising on quality, we built our own substrate-filling machine earlier this year. We couldn’t find anything on the market that fully met our needs, so we decided to create a solution ourselves.
Since launching the initial version, we’ve continued to refine and improve the machine. The latest updates make it easier to reproduce the machine, which helps us boost production efficiency even further and get your Pods ready faster, all contributing to a smoother production process.
User Experience Improvements
Improved Membership Offer Customization
We’ve added more flexibility to your Membership: you can now choose exactly how many Pods you’d like to receive, starting from just one with free shipping, and how often they should be delivered. We’ve also refined the selection process to better tailor the mushroom varieties to your preferences and introduced reminder emails ahead of each upcoming shipment. These updates are already available in Europe and will be launching in the United States and Canada soon.

What’s Ahead?
We’ll keep focusing on scaling up our fulfillment operations across the United States and Canada, while also improving your experience with Shrooly, our growing Pods, and the Membership program.
Tariffs on International Items
We’re keeping a close eye on the recent updates regarding new tariffs on goods imported from China. Since our devices are currently manufactured there, these changes could significantly increase our production costs. Based on the uncertainty of current events we have not made strategic decisions yet about potential production relocations, or additional topics, but we are closely monitoring the updates and working on finding strategies to mitigate challenges it might pose.
